First, what does the Online Logbook do?

The Concept2 Online Logbook is a free web-based application that allows you to record your workouts and keep track of your total metres. You can also use the logbook to check your progress in our Distance Award Clubs and take part in the various challenges we offer throughout the year. Setting up an online logbook is a simple, two-minute process, and can be done at concept2.com/logbook. Here are some of the reasons why the online logbook may be for you.

Accountability
When you log into the logbook, you instantly see the last time you worked out. Was it this morning, one week ago, three weeks ago, one year? Having a place where you can see your workout history may help keep you on your toes. There’s a page with lifetime bests for the RowErg, SkiErg or BikeErg, including your season metres from previous years. You have the option to connect with a training partner (or more than one). This allows you to look at each other’s logbooks, create some friendly competition, and of course, offers accountability.

Goals
Let the online logbook help keep you on track with your goals. Do you want to see your average metres each day, or week? Or keep track of how many total metres, total time, and total days you row, ski or ride? The logbook breaks down metres by machine and by season. You can view your weekly, monthly or season summaries.

Tracking Data
Concept2’s free app, ErgData, is designed to run on iOS and Android devices connected to a Performance Monitor and is the perfect partner to the online logbook. Once connected, ErgData provides additional performance statistics, and stores and displays your workout results. In addition, it makes it really easy to upload your results to your online logbook with two simple swipes and a tap.

Challenges
Concept2 has many motivational challenges throughout the year that can help you commit to a variety of unique goals. When you log into the online logbook, these are available on the “Challenges” tab. Plan your workouts around the next challenge or see your progress on your personal landing page.

Rewards
Whether you complete an online challenge, complete a million metres, or accomplish certain distances, Concept2 provides recognition for your achievements with printable certificates and other incentives. You’ll be rewarded when you complete an online challenge and enter your metres in your logbook. That bit of recognition validates your performance.

Online Rankings
The other big feature of the Logbook is the ability for people to submit their best workouts to the Online Ranking. You can choose how you want to filter the ranking, so that you can see how you compare to other athletes by gender, age, country, or even in a particular city or state. You can see what workouts people have ranked already by going to concept2.com/rankings.

The Online Logbook is a fantastic tool to help you stay motivated and on track with your goals. Whether you’re a first-time user hoping to just start out and be able to row for 10 minutes straight, set a World Record, or anywhere in between, the online logbook will be your steady partner. Signing up is free, easy, and the rewards and achievements can pile up quickly!
