It's Time to Learn to Row - June 7, 2025!

National Learn to Row Day kicks off this year on Saturday, June 7. Rowing clubs across the United States are encouraged to welcome and celebrate newcomers to our sport via this annual Learn to Row Day tradition, and in return they will have the chance to win prizes for their organization. National Learn to Row Day is co-sponsored by USRowing and Concept2. The event is a community outreach day geared to educate and inspire all ages about the amazing sport of rowing. The day plays an important role in the overall growth of the sport by bringing visibility and attention to rowing within local communities. USRowing provides Learn to Row Day information and resources including a poster, graphics, social media ideas and other event planning tips for a successful, safe event. “We’re proud to be long-time sponsors of National Learn to Row Day and hope that this first time rowing experience can translate to a lifelong love of the sport. We hope that everyone has a great experience on the water enjoying something new,” says Concept2's Judy Geer. 

By hosting a Learn to Row Day event and entering the sweepstakes, you can showcase your commitment to the future of rowing while enjoying the opportunity to win a Concept2 Erg, a 2026 USRowing Organizational Membership of your choice, or a set of eight sweep oars from Concept2. 

How to Enter the Learn to Row Sweepstakes:

First, sign up online at the link here and fill out the sweepstakes entry form. You can enter now until June 6, 2025. Be sure that at least one person who attends the event has a USRowing Learn to Row membership and affiliate the organization through the USRowing member portal.

Next, get ready to host and organize a Learn to Row Day event at your organization on June 7, 2025.

After your Learn to Row Day event, complete the provided 2025 Learn to Row Sweepstakes Exit Survey by June 30, 2025. This will be sent out after Learn to Row Day.

What are the Prizes for the Learn to Row Sweepstakes:

Three winners will be randomly selected to receive one of the following prizes-

• A Concept2 Erg
• A 2026 USRowing Organizational Membership of Winner's Choice
• Eight Concept2 Sweep Oars
